This South African sensation was created during vacation work at a workshop from almost entirely scrap material (more on this below). A barbecue, or "braai", is a central feature in any local gathering and an almost essential household item.
It was crafted from 316 stainless steel not only for its corrosion resistant properties but also for it's highly reflective nature that improved radiant heating of the meat. The angled sides ensure that radiated heat is utilized to crisp the surface while locking in moisture to prevent food drying out.
Telescoping legs also allow for adjustment for braai-ers of all heights :)
